In a tragic incident in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad, three minor sisters lost their lives after jumping off the ninth floor of their residential building in the early hours of Wednesday, reportedly after their parents objected to the three sisters’ excessive online gaming. As per reports, the three minor sisters used to play online task-based games. The incident took place around 2 am last night at Bharat City Society under Tila Mod Police Limits in the Loni area.
The police found a note in the case at the residence of the three minor girls. From the suicide note, it is clear that the three girls were influenced by Korean culture, said the police. However, no particular app was named.

After reading the suicide note, the father of the minors, Chetan Kumar, said, “They had told me, ‘Papa, we cannot leave Korean. Korean is our life. Korean is everything to us. You cannot separate us from it. We will give up our lives.’ I have just seen the suicide note. This is very tragic.” He appealed to all parents to be careful and to ensure that children do not become so deeply attached to games.

The Assistant Commissioner of Police, Atul Kumar Singh, stated that the three deceased minor girls have been identified as Nishika (16), Prachi (14), and Pakhi (12). ACP added, “Today, around 2:15 AM, information was received that three girls had jumped from the balcony of the 9th floor of Flat No. 907, Tower B1, in Bharat City… On reaching the spot, it was found that the three girls were dead on the ground floor…”
After speaking to the family, DCP Trans-Hindon, Nimish Patil confirmed that the girls were troubled after their parents somewhat restricted them from using the phone for the past few days. He added, “because of that, the three sisters took this decision…”
According to police, the whole family was present in the house at the time of the incident, but they were asleep as the incident occurred at 2 am on Wednesday. Probe is underway.

As per an eyewitness who had called the police, one of them planned to jump, and the others fell while trying to save her. He stated, “I saw all three of them jumping… It happened at around 2 AM…I called the police… ”
