Holding his first rally on Tiranga Yatra ahead of assembly polls in Rajasthan, Chief Minister of Delhi and AAP’s convener Arvind Kejariwal on Monday said state Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and BJP’s national vice-president Vasundhara Raje were two sides of the same coin. He alleged that both the leaders help each other in crisis.

“I have heard that Raje and Gehlot have a good friendship. When Gehlot comes under ‘aanch’ (flame), Vasundhara makes the entire party stand for him. Similarly, when the BJP was taking action against Raje, Gehlot made the Congress stand up for her,” said Kejariwal.

“Since independence, Congress has ruled Rajasthan for 48 years and BJP for 18 years. Now, BJP-Congress cannot say that it did not give them a chance. The condition of Rajasthan is pathetic. Farmers are committing suicide, examination papers are getting leaked. The widows of the martyrs are being insulted”, Kejariwal lamented on both major political parties.

“From the year 1993 till now, you have given an opportunity to BJP and Congress alternately and both have looted Rajasthan. There is a setting in both Congress and BJP. They used to accuse each other of scams in elections. After the elections, no action is taken against a single person,” he further alleged, adding “AAP setting is from the public. We will expose the scams of both the “Mosere Bhais” (cousins).

AAP Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Sandeep Pathak said, “Tiranga Yatra is a campaign to make Rajasthan number one. Through this campaign, we want to start positive politics in every corner of the country. We want to connect the country with Arvind Kejriwal’s politics. We want to start the politics of building good schools and hospitals in Rajasthan. That’s why AAP will vigorously contest 200 assembly seats in Rajasthan this time.”
