Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has alleged that the Modi government could not sense and assess on time the seriousness of LPG crisis in the wake of the Middle East war which, he said, amounts to “collective failure” of the Centre.

Expressing concerns over the shortage of the LPG supply on Wednesday, Gehlot said in a social media post on X that as usual the Modi government demonstrated carelessness and insensitive attitude.

The senior Congress leader also appealed to the public to observe austerity in use of LPG, petrol, and diesel.

The former CM has also urged the government to pay extra attention in maintaining the LPG supply to Indira Rasoi (Annapurna Rasoi) as the food cooked and served for satiating hunger of lakhs of poor, homeless, and other needy persons.

Meanwhile, the Opposition Congress held demonstrations in Jaipur and some other towns, in protest against the shortage and routine sorts of difficulties in supply.
