At least 13 people were killed and more than 20 others sustained injuries in the car blast near the iconic Red Fort in Delhi on Monday.
Investigation revealed that a doctor named Umar Un Nabi, who was allegedly linked to the Jaish module busted in Haryana’s Faridabad, detonated a premature bomb kept in his Hyundai i20 car.
According to reports, Nabi went missing after the J&K police crackdown on his associates in Faridabad and other parts of the country.
The police had also seized over 350 kg of an explosive material, possibly ammonium nitrate. It is also suspected that the same explosive material was used in the Red Fort blast.
