FM Nirmala Sitharaman, family, perform aarti of Lord Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, along with her family, offered prayers at the Shri Ram Darbar and performed the aarti of Lord Ram Lalla here today. She also participated in the Rudrabhishek of Lord Mahadev at Kuber Tila.

Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, accompanied the Finance Minister during her visit to the temple complex, sharing insights about the temple’s construction and its spiritual significance. Moved by the temple’s divine grandeur, Sitharaman expressed deep reverence and pride at witnessing its magnificence.

During the aarti, the entire court of Shri Ram Lalla echoed with devotional chants, as a gentle breeze from the Saryu River and the melodious chanting of hymns filled the atmosphere with divine energy. Lighting the ceremonial lamp, the Finance Minister joined devotees in chanting “Jai Shri Ram,” further enhancing the spiritual fervour of the occasion.

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust extended a floral welcome to Sitharaman and discussed matters related to temple security, darshan arrangements, and future development plans.

Uttar Pradesh Finance Minister Suresh Khanna and Agriculture Minister and Ayodhya District In-charge Minister Surya Pratap Shahi were also present on the occasion.

Ayodhya today stands as a living symbol of India’s timeless faith, culture, and civilization. Since the completion of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, the number of devotees from across India and abroad has continued to rise, each experiencing a sacred confluence of the Ramayana’s eternal heritage and the spirit of modern India.
