Flag to be hoisted at Ram Temple on Nov 25 worshipped as per rituals

The religious rituals for the Ram Temple flag-hoisting ceremony, scheduled for November 25, concluded on Saturday with a ritualistic aarti.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will hoist the flag.

During Saturday’s ritual, the focus was primarily on the worship of the flag that will be hoisted atop the Ram Temple.

Dr. Anil Mishra, a member of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra and the chief host of the Ram Temple flag-hoisting ceremony, performed the ritual with his wife and worshipped the flag. Other hosts invited to the ceremony also participated in the flag worship along with their wives.

The religious rituals for the Ram Temple flag-hoisting ceremony, conducted by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, commenced on November 20 with the Kalash Yatra and Prayashchit Pujan and will culminate on November 25 when Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoists the flag at the Ram Temple.

Dr. Anil Mishra is the chief host of the Ram Mandir flag-hoisting ceremony, and along with him, 23 other hosts, including Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trustee Krishna Mohan, are serving as hosts for the flag-hoisting ceremonies at the fort and other temples within the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex.

Other hosts for the Ram Mandir flag-hoisting ceremony include Shailendra Mohan Pratap Mishra, associated with the Ayodhya royal family; homeopathic doctor Chandra Gopal Pandey; BJP district general secretary Shailendra Kori; gas agency owner Shashi Priyadarshi; former proctor of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Dr. Ajay Pratap Singh; prominent businessman Piyush Singhal; businessman Nirankar Maurya; and Dr. Nanak Sharan, who is performing the puja along with his wife.
