Earlier, multiple reports suggested that unknown assailants allegedly opened fire outside the Amritsar residence of Kapil Sharma in a shocking late-night incident, triggering security concerns in the city.
It was claimed that two rounds of firing were carried out by unidentified men, who were suspected to have traveled on a motorcycle or in a car.
Kapil Sharma’s residence is located in the upscale Holy City area of Amritsar.
Notably, this comes after the firing incident outside Kapil Sharma’s ‘Kap’s Cafe’ in Surrey, Canada. At that time, reports claimed that some pro-Khalistan elements had allegedly taken responsibility for those incidents.
