Refuting allegations of corruption against him, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday said the FIR against him by the CBI is a political vendetta and a conspiracy by Amit Shah and PM Modi.

"The FIR against me is a political vendetta. Conspiracy by Amit Shah and PM Modi. From day one, they have tried to break our alliance," the deputy CM said after attending a meeting of the state cabinet.

"I had pledged zero tolerance to corruption when I took over as minister. Not a single case of corruption has been reported so far in my three departments," he added.

"The alliance is strong and will not break. The BJP will get a fitting reply," he said.
