In view of the heavy rush due to the upcoming festivals of Diwali and Chhath, sale of platform tickets has been temporarily stopped at five major Delhi-NCR stations–New Delhi, Delhi Jn, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Anand Vihar Terminal, and Ghaziabad Railway Stations from October 15 to 28.
“However, persons accompanying senior citizens/divyangjans/illiterate/lady passengers may approach the Enquiry Office for platform tickets,” Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay, Chief Public Relations Officer, Northern Railway, said on Wednesday.
