Facility inaugurated by PM Modi to monitor crop behaviour

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently inaugurated Hi-Tech Climate Controlled Pheonomics Infrastructure Facility at Indian Agriculture Research Institute (IARI).

The main purpose of the facility, installed by the agriculture company Saveer Biotech Ltd, is to examine the crops behaviour and traits, particularly for rice and wheat.

The facility has five climate control crop sections to measure and control the diverse parameters accountable for plant’s growth such as the right quantum of temperature, humidity and light.

Saveer Biotech Ltd, is a science and technology company, with businesses in the greenhouse technology, phytotron, growth chambers and plant tissue culture labs .
