Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Social Welfare (Independent Charge) Aseem Arun said that in the present times, digital education has become a necessity, not an option.
Through technology, girl students will receive quality education, access to new information, and support in preparing for competitive examinations. He said that this effort is a significant step towards the empowerment of girls, making them confident and self-reliant.
On Tuesday, the Social Welfare Department launched a new initiative aimed at empowering girl students digitally and promoting self-reliance through education. In this regard, a coordination meeting and tablet distribution program were organized at Bhagidari Bhawan in Gomti Nagar on Tuesday. During the program, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Social Welfare Department and the Madad Foundation.

Each school received 20 tablets so that the students can use them for studies, digital learning, and other educational activities. This initiative has been launched as a pilot project, and after its success, there are plans to provide tablets to schools in other districts as well.
Rajesh Mani, Founder of Madad Foundation, said that this partnership with the Social Welfare Department is a meaningful initiative in the field of education and social upliftment.
