The Delhi Police Special Cell on Friday arrested Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorist Sajjad Khan, who was also a close associate of Pulwama terror attack mastermind Mudasir Ahmed Khan who was eliminated earlier this month.

Mudasir Ahmed Khan alias ‘Mohd Bhai’, was killed in an encounter in South Kashmir.

Mudasir was a Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorist and the one who arranged the vehicle and the explosives for Adil Ahmed Dar, the suicide bomber who attacked a CRPF convoy killing 44 troopers.

Mobile phone records indicated that Mudasir was in constant touch with Adil after providing the van to him.

He was among the three terrorists killed in Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district by security forces in an overnight encounter, which began after the terrorists opened fire during a cordon and search operation in Pinglish area.

Over 44 CRPF personnel were killed and many injured on February 14 in one of the deadliest terror strikes in Jammu-Kashmir when a Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) suicide bomber blew up an explosive-laden vehicle near their bus in Pulwama district.

The bus was part of a convoy of 78 vehicles carrying around 2500 CRPF personnel from Jammu to Srinagar.
