Croatia’s Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic and his family visited the Taj Mahal on Saturday afternoon. The Croatian PM arrived in Agra with his wife and three children to see the monument.
They arrived at a private hotel on Saturday at around 1 pm via the Yamuna Expressway from Delhi and were welcomed with a cultural programme in accordance with Indian tradition.
Later, the family visited the Taj Mahal by golf cart and spent about one and a half hours at the monument.
The entire family gathered information about the Taj Mahal from a guide, and a photo session was also arranged. The monument was closed to general tourists for security reasons during that period.
The administration did not disclose details from inside the Taj Mahal, nor were any photographs from inside the monument shared.
