Cow dung, slippers thrown at Bihar Dy CM Vijay Sinha’s car in Lakhisarai; he blames RJD ‘goons’

With voting for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections underway, BJP candidate from Lakhisarai constituency, Vijay Kumar Sinha’s car was allegedly attacked by people, who chanted ‘murdabad’ slogans and hurled slippers at the vehicle.

Sinha, who is also the outgoing Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, was quick to blame the opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) for the attack.

“These are the goons of RJD. Satta mein aa rahi hai NDA isliye inke chhati pe bulldozer chalega (NDA is coming to power and they will face bulldozer action),” Sinha vented out in anger.

He further alleged the “goons of RJD” were not letting him visit Khoriari village.

“Vijay Sinha is going to win…They turned away my polling agent and did not let him vote…Look at their hooliganism…This is 404 and 405 booth numbers of Khoriari village,” he alleged.

Narrating the incident, the BJP leader alleged that his car was surrounded by the RJD supporters who pelted stones and cow dung and chanted “murdabad” as he visited the village in his constituency.

Following the incident, Sinha spoke to the Superintendent of Police (SP) and informed him about the attack. Police personnel were rushed to the spot to control the situation.
