Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that whenever India has moved towards a golden age, foreigners have tried to attack it through various means. Even today, attempts are being made to weaken society through conversion, love jihad, and drugs, demanding vigilance.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday participated in the idol consecration ceremony and the grand feast of eight maans held at Baba Palnath Ashram in Kablana village of Jhajjar district, Haryana, and gave a message to the society and the saint community to remain vigilant.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “Protecting Sanatan Dharma is essential for the protection of India, world humanity, and the entire inanimate world. Whenever we are divided, we suffer losses. Therefore, we should not divide on the basis of caste, region, or language.”

Citing the example of the saffron flag hoisted at the Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex in Ayodhya, he said that just as the victorious flag of Sanatan Dharma is flying there, the flag of Dharma should be visible in every Sanatani’s home.

Thanking the double-engine government, Yogi Adityanath said that Haryana too is setting new standards of development. He wished peace, progress, and prosperity for the people of the state.

Taking a tough stand on the issue of drug abuse, the Chief Minister said, “Conspiracies are constantly being hatched from across the border to spread the drug trade. Drug abuse is a cause of destruction and destroys society’s ability to think. If we do not become aware, future generations will not forgive us.”

Yogi Adityanath urged saints to raise their voice against religious conversion, love jihad, and drug abuse at every religious event. He explained that the Yogis of the Nath sect traditionally went from village to village playing the Sarangi to raise awareness, which was an effective way to awaken society.

He said that Sanatan Dharma is the world’s most ancient tradition, whose practices and principles have paved the way for human welfare. The worship of Adinath, Lord Shiva, symbolises India’s unity from north to south and east to west. The Nath Siddhas have made Sanatan’s teachings accessible to all through the 12 sub-sects.

Reflecting on the arrangements for the feast and the large crowd, the Chief Minister described it as unforgettable and recalled the Prayagraj Mahakumbh. He stated that such events help unite society, advance the tradition of yoga and meditation, and contribute to the creation of a healthy and strong India. The consecration ceremony of the idols of Siddha Shiromani Baba Mastnath, Baba Palnath, his guru brother, the Shiva family, and Bajrangbali was completed at the event.

Those present on the occasion included the Mahant of Baba Mastnath Peeth and MLA Yogi Balak Nath, Mahant Narharinath, Chetnath, Rajnath, and numerous saints and public representatives.
