Maharashtra Pradesh Congress President Harshwardhan Sapkal alleged here on Saturday that Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s son, Parth Pawar, is also involved in another controversial land deal in addition to the already known Mundhwa land deal in Pune.

Parth Pawar, who owns a 99 per cent stake in Amadea Enterprises LLP, has not been named in any FIR related to the 40-acre Mundhwa land deal in Pune’s Koregaon Park area so far.

Harshwardhan Sapkal accused Parth Pawar’s company of committing another land scam in which his company allegedly misappropriated 35 hectares of land earmarked for dairy development in Pune.

“Parth Pawar’s misappropriation related to dairy land has recently come to light. More than 35 hectares of this land have already been sold. Even as it came to light that the company in Parth Pawar’s name misappropriated land earmarked for an IT Park in Pune, he took over another piece of government land meant for dairy development,” Harshwardhan Sapkal said.

“Parth Pawar’s company received credit from a sugar factory in Daund. Funds were also obtained from some other places, including the Daund-based sugar factory, after which Parth Pawar’s company purchased these 35 hectares of land. We demand that this matter be investigated. All transactions should be investigated and appropriate action taken,” Harshwardhan Sapkal said.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that ‘I will not eat nor will I allow anybody else to eat’, but exactly the opposite is going on. We demand that all transactions, including the dairy land scam, be investigated and appropriate action taken,” Harshwardhan Sapkal said.

Harshwardhan Sapkal’s latest allegation on Saturday follows his earlier allegation made on Friday against Deputy CM Ajit Pawar’s sons.

“The corruption of one of Ajit Pawar’s sons (Parth Pawar) has been exposed due to the land deal case in Pune. But his other son, Chiranjeevi, owns a liquor company called Tango, and Ajit Pawar has taken several decisions to benefit Tango. To protect Tango, Ajit Pawar has also kept the powers of the Minister of Excise Department with his finance ministry, so that his second son, Chiranjeevi, benefits through Tango,” Harshwardhan Sapkal alleged on Friday.
