Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan on Saturday alleged that the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) is trying to create a Muslim state in this country and implement Sharia law.
He also said Congress cannot stand its own in the state without the support of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML).
Inaugurating the SNDP Yogam branch leadership meeting at Edathua in Kuttanad on Saturday, the leader of the Ezhava OBC organisation said the Congress party in Kerala cannot move forward without using the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) as a crutch.
He said not even a single tea shop is allowed to open in Malappuram during the Ramzan fasting period. He said that the Muslim faction is taking steps to threaten the ruling government by showing a vote bank.
He said that those who have been getting the votes of Kuttanad people for a long time do not need them now and that only by coming together in an organized manner can the community get what it deserves.
