Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the PMO said in a post on social media platform X.

During the meeting, Patel discussed various issues related to the state’s development, including the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conferences. Patel also thanked Modi for the recent GST reforms announced on Wednesday.

Sharing a photo of the meeting on social media, Patel stated that he received valuable guidance on effectively reaching every beneficiary of the government’s welfare schemes.

“It was a very delightful opportunity to meet Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in New Delhi. Under the leadership of Modi Saheb, through the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, Gujarat has emerged as the ‘Most Preferred Investment Destination’ for investors. Inspired by this success, and with the guidance of the Prime Minister, the State Government will be organizing Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conferences for different zones of Gujarat. In this regard, I received the valuable guidance of the Prime Minister,” Patel said in a post on social media platform X.

The meeting has sparked speculation about a potential cabinet reshuffle and the appointment of a new Gujarat BJP president. Sources suggest that the long-awaited cabinet expansion could be announced soon, with possibilities of inducting senior leaders who defected from the Congress. The current state chief, C R Patil, has already completed his term and holds a berth in the Union Cabinet.
