CISF bags 64 medals at 2025 World Police and Fire Games

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) made the country proud by winning a total of 64 medals at the 2025 World Police and Fire Games, held in Birmingham, USA, from 30 June to 6 July.

The CISF team took part in six events and performed exceptionally well.

Every player gave their best, demonstrating great spirit, strength, and teamwork.

The success of CISF athletes also contributed to India securing third place in the overall medal tally, with a total of 560 medals.

In wrestling, CISF athletes from Haryana won all the gold medals. The winners included Sunny Kumar, Ajay Dagar, Harish, Mohit, and Abhimanyu.

Lady Assistant Sub-Inspector Reenu won gold in the 10 km cross-country, 5,000 metres, 10,000 metres, half marathon, and half marathon team event, along with a silver in 1,500 metres.

The athletes of the country’s ace security force, who took part in the international games, hailed from various states across India.

The central armed police force continues to encourage fitness, discipline, and excellence, and its team’s performance at the World Police and Fire Games shows the strength and determination of its personnel on the global stage.

The World Police and Fire Games is a major international sporting event that brings together police and fire service personnel from across the globe to compete in various sporting disciplines.

This year, over 10,000 athletes from more than 70 countries participated in these prestigious games.
