Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Saturday said that strong coordination between the Centre and the state government has played an important role in accelerating development and improving the delivery of welfare programmes. He said that continuous dialogue and cooperation between the two governments have helped ensure that the benefits of public welfare schemes reach people more effectively across the state. Sai made the remarks during a courtesy meeting with Union Minister Giriraj Singh at the Chief Minister’s residence office in Raipur.
The Chief Minister welcomed the Union Minister with a traditional shawl and a memento, noting that the interaction would help further strengthen cooperation between the Centre and the state.
Sai said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a collaborative approach between the Union and state governments has created a favourable environment for faster implementation of development initiatives. He observed that sustained coordination and regular communication have helped improve policy execution and expand the reach of welfare programmes to the last mile.
Chief Minister Sai said that the benefits of this partnership are becoming visible across multiple sectors. He said that stronger cooperation between the Centre and the state has contributed to new opportunities in infrastructure creation, industrial growth, employment generation, skill development and public service delivery.
Sai expressed confidence that continued collaboration would provide further momentum to Chhattisgarh’s growth journey. He said the state would benefit from closer coordination in implementing development projects and expanding economic opportunities for its people. The Chief Minister reiterated his commitment to the vision of a developed Chhattisgarh and said that cooperative efforts between different levels of government would remain crucial in achieving the goal.
