Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while attributed the success of Operation Sindoor to 140 crore people of the country, said that those who want the good of the country, whether they are leaders of any political party or common citizens, everyone should take a pledge of Swadeshi.
” We should buy such things which are made with the hard work and sweat of an Indian. ‘Vocal for Local’ and ‘Make in India’ products have to be promoted. He said every item used in the house should be Swadeshi.
Without even mentioning about the ongoing tariff dispute with US , PM Modi said that currently the world is going through a period of instability. ” In such a situation, the business brothers will have to take a pledge that they will sell only indigenous goods. Diwali and marriage occasions are coming near. During this time, only indigenous goods should be given priority. The feeling of indigenous will decide the future of India and the dream of developed India will come true,” he appealed.
The Prime Minister emphasized that we have to adopt the mantra of buying indigenous goods and decorating our homes with indigenous goods.
He said Rs 21,000 crore was transferred to the accounts of ten crore farmer brothers under Kisan Samman Nidhi. ” When this amount is sent from Kashi, it becomes prasad,” he claimed.
” Our government is dedicated to the farmers. Previous governments used to make announcements, but did not fulfill them. The BJP government does what it says,” he claimed.
” When the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi started, the SP and opposition parties used to spread rumors that Modi would withdraw the deposited money. Under this scheme, more than Rs 3.5 lakh crore rupees have been deposited in the accounts of farmers so far. Two and a half crore farmers of Uttar Pradesh got Rs 90,000 crore and farmers of Kashi got Rs 900 crore. You elected such an MP, due to whom this amount reached the accounts directly without any commission or manipulation. There is no leakage in the system. The mantra of development is- the more backward the person, the more priority he gets,” the local Varanasi MP said.
He further said ,” attention is also being given to areas with low agricultural production. The NDA government is working with full force to bring change in the lives of farmers. To deal with the challenges of weather, PM Crop Insurance Scheme was started, under which claims of more than Rs 1.5 lakh crore have been given. The government is ensuring that farmers get a fair price for their crops. The minimum support price (MSP) has been increased. Thousands of new warehouses are being built across the country. There is an emphasis on increasing the participation of women in the agricultural economy. The target is to make three crore Lakhpati Didis, out of which more than one crore have already been made. SP people will run away with bicycles after hearing this figure. Efforts are on to take modern agricultural research to the fields”.
PM said although agriculture is a state subject, but the central government has also taken steps in this direction. ” Jan Dhan accounts of 55 crore people were opened. After ten years, it is necessary to get KYC done for these accounts. I took up this responsibility and instructed the banks to complete the KYC of people by running a campaign in the village panchayats from July 1. Those who have Jan Dhan accounts should get KYC done and take advantage of this camp. Registration of many schemes is also being done. The cost of insurance is less than the cost of tea. Do join these schemes,” he said.
PM asked the representatives of BJP and NDA to make people aware of this campaign.
