Former president of the Wrestling Federation of India and Member of Parliament Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on Tuesday attacked Sanatan baiters, saying those who don’t understand A-B-C-D of the great dharma are raising questions against it.
Singh was in Haridwar to invite religious leaders to the Sanatan Dharma Conclave being held in his home district and Lok Sabha constituency Gonda.
Criticising anti Sanatan speakers in the country, the BJP stalwart from Uttar Pradesh said those speaking against Sanatan Dharma have no knowledge about it. He said Sanatan baiters are like empty vessels who sound loud with no substance. He added that the upcoming Sanatan conclave in Gonda would lead to some concrete information for such persons.
Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh said, “These days even those who don’t understand A-B-C-D of the dharma raise questions against Sanatan Dharma and try to create division in the society. A conspiracy is being hatched against Sanatan Dharma time and again. Seers, religious leaders, and acharyas from all over the country will gather at Nandini Nagar, Saket in Gonda for brainstorming sessions on the attacks against Sanatan.”
“Extensive campaigns and works will be done on the results of the religious leaders’ conclave in Gonda. I am here to seek the blessings and invite all religious leaders, seers, and acharyas for the Sanatan Conclave,” Singh said while speaking to a select group of media in Haridwar.
Earlier, Singh called upon Jagadguru Shankaracharya Rajrajeshwarashram and extended him an invitation to attend the religious gathering in Gonda. He discussed with the Jagadguru various issues pertaining to Sanatan Dharma and the challenges faced by it.
