BJP spokesperson Dr Aviral Malik’s phone stolen during grandfather Satyapal Malik’s last rites

During the last rites of former Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Satyapal Malik, his grandson and the BJP’s national spokesperson, Arviral Malik, had his mobile phone stolen.

The incident took place in Sector 12, Som Vihar, R K Puram, Delhi, on Thursday.

On the social media platform X, Dr Malik posted about the incident and expressed deep concern over the theft and appealed for immediate action.

“After paying my last respects to Satyapal Malik Dada Ji, while I was sitting in the ambulance with his mortal remains at my residence in Sector 12, Som Vihar, R K Puram, my phone was stolen,” he said.

He revealed that the stolen mobile phone was not locked and contained important personal and professional data. “This phone did not have any mobile locking password and contained all important data,” he added.

The BJP leader has urged Delhi Police to act swiftly, recover the mobile phone, and ensure strict legal action against those responsible. “It should be returned to me immediately, and strict legal action should be taken against the thieves. It has been over 30 hours since this incident occurred,” Malik added.

As of now, no official statement has been released by the authorities regarding the theft.
