Bihar BJP president Sanjay Saraogi has said the formation of a new government in the state, led by a Chief Minister from the BJP, should not be seen “as a change, but as continuity.”
He asserted that a new chapter in Bihar’s development will now be written with greater determination and energy, built on the same foundation of “good governance and commitment.”
Reassuring the people, he said, “On the strong foundation laid by former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the able guidance of BJP National President Nitin Nabin, we will give new momentum to Bihar’s development. The era of prosperity through good governance has begun. The period of Bihar’s rise has started.”
In an open letter addressed to party workers, Saraogi described the moment as one of great happiness and honour for the party, noting that “energetic, popular, and hardworking leader Samrat Choudhary has taken oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar”. “This achievement is the result of decades of tireless effort, sacrifice, and dedication,” he said, adding that credit goes to every worker, from the booth level to the state level, whose commitment made this moment possible.
He also congratulated Janata Dal (United) leaders Vijay Kumar Choudhary and Bijendra Prasad Yadav on taking oath as Deputy Chief Ministers.
Saraogi urged party workers to pledge that there would be no shortcoming in serving the people of Bihar, emphasising that the enthusiasm and dedication of workers remain the party’s greatest strength.
Earlier, he had issued a six-point code of conduct for workers under the name “SAMMAN” through another letter, which was widely appreciated within the organisation. The code has since become a foundation for strengthening organisational values, political integrity, and work culture.
