Senior BJP leader Sanjay Tandon held a detailed interaction with a delegation of aspiring candidates seeking the expeditious completion of the appointment process for Chandigarh JBT and TGT recruitment. The delegation submitted a memorandum highlighting the concerns of candidates who have been awaiting the conclusion of the recruitment process and issuance of appointment letters.

Taking cognizance of the matter, Tandon spoke with UT Chandigarh Education Secretary and urged the Education Secretary to take the necessary steps to expedite the pending appointment process so that the wait is over for the aspirants.

In a statement, Tandon said, “The concerns raised by the aspiring teachers are genuine and deserve prompt attention. These candidates have worked hard and successfully completed the prescribed recruitment stages. Delays in appointments create unnecessary uncertainty and anxiety for them and their families.”

He further assured the delegation that their concerns have been taken up with the authorities on priority and that he would continue to pursue the matter until a positive resolution is achieved.

“Our youth are the strength of the nation, and their aspirations must be respected and supported. I remain committed to raising issues that affect students, teachers and job aspirants and will continue to work towards a positive resolution in the interest of all concerned candidates,” Tandon added.

The delegation was led by PK Rao, President of the Teachers Union of City Beautiful (TUCB), and Amitab Kashyap, Secretary. It comprised candidates from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and several other states. The aspirants apprised Tandon of the difficulties and uncertainty being faced by deserving candidates despite successfully completing various stages of the recruitment process.
