The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday announced a key organizational change in its Jharkhand unit, appointing Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu as the state’s new Working President.

The appointment, made by BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda, takes immediate effect. Sahu replaces Ravindra Kumar Ray in the role.

The move is part of the party’s broader strategy to strengthen its leadership in Jharkhand ahead of upcoming political challenges.

An official notification, issued by National General Secretary and Headquarters In-charge Arun Singh, has been circulated to all national office bearers, state in-charges, state presidents, and state general secretaries for information and necessary action.
