The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday announced its Election Campaign Committee for the 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections. A total of 45 senior party leaders have been entrusted with responsibilities to oversee the party’s election campaign across different regions of Bihar. This step marks a significant move in the party’s preparations for the upcoming elections.

The committee represents a blend of central and state-level leaders, along with young faces, reflecting the party’s emphasis on organisational strength and strategic planning ahead of the elections.

Prominent leaders like Bihar BJP President Dilip Jaiswal, Deputy Chief Ministers of Bihar Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Sinha, Union Ministers Giriraj Singh and Nityanand Rai, former Union Ministers Shahnawaz Hussain, Ashwini Choubey, and Ravi Shankar Prasad, BJP National Secretary Rituraj Sinha, have been included in the committee.

Radha Mohan Singh, Dr Sanjay Jaiswal, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Dr Prem Kumar, and Mangal Pandey are among the veteran leaders who will lead the campaign and regularly review its progress across the state.

The announcement has come shortly after Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Bihar. During his two-day visit to sharpen the election strategy, he held a series of back-to-back meetings with BJP leaders in the state and addressed divisional-level workers in Samastipur, Araria, and Bettiah.

He had an in-depth discussion with senior party leaders at the BJP state office on strengthening the party organisation, candidate selection, and election strategy in view of the upcoming elections, and also gave them a strategic blueprint for winning the upcoming elections.
