Bihar election first phase constituencies: Bihar is going to the polls in November 2025. The Legislative Assembly elections will take place in two phases on 6th November and 11th November to elect 243 members. After that, votes will be counted and results announced on 14th November 2025.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) has carefully planned the schedule keeping in mind festivals, board exams, academic calendars, law and order, deployment of Central Armed Police Forces in addition to transport arrangements and other ground realities.
The first phase of polling will cover 121 Assembly Constituencies (ACs). Voters across these regions will head to polling booths and choose their representatives. Of note, several seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC) communities.
The current Bihar Legislative Assembly’s tenure ends on 22nd November 2025. In the previous 2020 elections, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) formed the government with Nitish Kumar returning as Chief Minister.
