Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist trains showcasing heritage of Gujarat, Rajasthan to operate in January

With an aim to promote heritage, pilgrimage and cultural tourism in India, Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist trains will operate on two exclusive circuits “Garvi Gujarat” and “Padharo Rajasthan” in January next year.

The much sought-after train tours “Garvi Gujarat Tour” and “Padharo Rajasthan” will depart on January 13 and 24, 2026 respectively from Delhi’s Safdarjung Railway Station.

The state-of-the-art tourist train with AC I, AC II and AC III class will accommodate a total 150 tourists.

“The 9 nights and 10 days ”Garvi Gujarat tour” will cover Vadodara, Champaner, Statue of Unity (Kevadia), Somnath, Diu, Dwarka, Ahmedabad, Modhera, Patan, Vadnagar and back to Delhi while ”Padharo Rajasthan” spanning over 5 nights and 6 days will cover Jaipur, Jaisalmer and Jodhpur.” an official from the IRCTC said.

Elaborating further about the upcoming tours, the official said, “From royal palaces to spiritual shores, the “Garvi Gujarat” tour has it all. Spanning over a period of 10 days, this tour will cover a host of places like Vadodara, the cultural capital; Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, the timeless UNESCO treasure ; Statue of Unity, the pride of the nation; Somnath, the eternal Jyotirlinga; Diu, the island of serenity; Dwarka, the kingdom of Lord Krishna; Ahmedabad, the vibrant heart of Gujarat; Modhera, the Sun Temple splendour; Patan, the land of Rani Ki Vav and finally Vadnagar, the ancient
town of heritage and harmony.

Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train has a host of amazing features that include two fine dining restaurants, a modern flameless kitchen, shower cubicles in coaches, sensor-based washroom functions, foot massager etc.

The fully air-conditioned train provides three types of accommodation viz. 1st AC, 2nd AC and 3rd AC. The train has enhanced security features of CCTV cameras in common areas and unarmed Security Guards for each coach.

Garvi Gujarat has been launched at a special price of Rs 95,805/-per person for 1AC and Rs 88,230/- for 2AC and Rs 69,085/- for 3 AC Class.

“Padharo Rajasthan is priced at Rs. 67,900/-per person for 1AC, Rs 59,180/- for 2AC and Rs 52,480/- for 3 AC tier. Package price is inclusive of train journey in respective AC classes, accommodation in 3 star hotels, all meals (VEG ONLY), all transfer and sight-seeing in AC vehicles, accidental travel insurance and services of IRCTC Tour Manager etc,” the official added.
