Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak paid tribute to BJP ideologue Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya on his birth anniversary on Thursday.

On the occasion, he said that based on the principle of integral humanism, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has successfully displayed the same by implementing the Garib Kalyan Yojana and ensuring rays of development to every person.

‘Antyodaya’, meaning ‘serving the last man in the queue’, is a concept developed by Deen Dayal Upadhyaya and aims at reaching out to the most marginalised sections of the society.

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said, “Today, we can say that on the same basis on which Upadhyaya ji worked to advance the principle of integral humanism, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done a great job in bringing smiles to the faces of the last man in the queue. Today, we can say that 250 million people have come out of poverty. Today, every home has a permanent house, a toilet, water, electricity, roads, hospitals, and a lot of work has been done”.

He said the work done by Prime Minister Modi to make the life of the common man easier and to uplift every person in the country is a true tribute to Deendayal Upadhyay.
