Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday remembered Balasaheb Thackeray on his 92nd birth anniversary and said that the “brave leader” worked “tirelessly” to fulfil the aspirations of people.
In a tweet, Modi said: “Remembering Balasaheb Thackeray on his birth anniversary. He will always be remembered as a brave leader who worked tirelessly towards fulfilling the aspirations of people.”
Bal Thackeray, who founded Shiv Sena, was born in Pune on January 23, 1926 and died on November 17, 2012.
