The work on metro rail line from Bahadurgarh in Haryana to Mundka (Delhi) has almost been completed and the testing work of the railway track will soon be started.
Informing this while presiding over the 25th meeting of Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation on Tuesday, the chief secretary, DS Dhesi said work on metro from YMCA Chowk, Faridabad to Ballabhgarh will be completed by June 2018.

It was informed in the meeting that under the new Metro Policy-2017, three metro lines would be started soon. These included Narela-Kundli, HUDA City Centre, Gurugram-Railway Station Gurugram and Sector 45 Gurugram to Bata Chowk Faridabad.

The chief secretary directed the officers to explore the possibilities of connecting Southern peripheral road, Northern peripheral road and Railway Station in district Gurugram from Metro.
