Azad gives notice in Rajya Sabha over deteriorating security in J-K

A day after two policemen were killed in a terror attack, Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad on Wednesday submitted a zero hour notice in the Rajya Sabha over deteriorating security situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

In a dramatic get away, a Pakistani terrorist escaped from police custody after opening fire at the cops inside the Maharaja Hari Singh hospital in Srinagar on Tuesday.

The two cops who got injured in the incident later succumbed to their injuries. They were identified as Head Constable Mushtaq Ahmad and Babar Ahmad.

The Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander Abu Hanzula alias Naveed Jat snatched the rifle of a Jammu and Kashmir policeman and opened indiscriminate firing at the cops.
