Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu on Friday participated in the 10th Auto Summit being organised by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Association in New Delhi.

Addressing the summit, Naidu said “the biggest challenge before all of us is the protection of environment and necessary changes should be made in the auto sector to make it environment friendly”.

Naidu said that transformation in the auto sector is required in every sense and the manufacturers, suppliers or dealers must follow ethical standards to facilitate this transformation.

The Vice President also said that the Indian automotive industry and organisations like Automobile Dealers Association must gear up to meet the future requirements by adopting newer, cleaner technologies that are innovative and environmentally sustainable.

While wishing success to the summit, Naidu said: “I am sure that this summit will explore various possibilities that lie ahead for all stakeholders, including the industry.”
