Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav has alleged that atrocities and oppression have reached their peak under the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh.
He said, “Driven by the arrogance of power, the BJP, along with feudal forces, is committing injustice against farmers, youth, and women. There is a conspiracy to erase the Constitution and the name of its maker, Baba Saheb Dr B R Ambedkar.”
In a statement here on Wednesday, Akhilesh Yadav stated that the saffron party is not only oppressing farmers in Uttar Pradesh but is also harassing them in other states where it is in power. They are conspiring to snatch their land and crops. “Be it Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh or Guna in Madhya Pradesh, the methods of oppression, cruelty, and harassment perpetrated by BJP leaders are the same. BJP leaders have not only crushed farmers with their vehicles but have also trampled their produce. The BJP government has crossed all limits of indignity, from land acquisition to black laws and the murder of farmers,” he claimed.
The SP chief said under the BJP government, the morale of powerful and criminal elements has increased so much that no one is safe. “Crimes against women are increasing in Uttar Pradesh and the voices of victims are being suppressed. The BJP’s feudal mindset holds women in awe. The party uses false slogans to mislead the public. Women and daughters are exposing this government by bringing their sufferings and true nature to the forefront,” he said.
Yadav said that the truth is that the BJP wants to rule the state in a feudalistic manner as they do not respect the Constitution and the law. With the PDA having the shield of protecting the Constitution, the BJP government is resorting to exploitation and oppression. “With the Constitution in danger, the extent to which the dominant people will commit atrocities cannot be imagined,” he claimed.
Yadav said the people of the state would remove the BJP government from power in 2027 and put an end to its arrogance, exploitation, and oppression. “The Constitution can be saved only when the BJP is removed and the dignity and security of sisters, daughters, farmers, and youth will be ensured,” he added.
