New Delhi, 14 July: With increasing terrorist activity in Jammu and Kashmir, the Army Chief General Bikram Singh will leave tomorrow to take stock of the situation, with the political leadership and top officials and military commanders.  He will hold discussions with J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Governor N N Vohra, Army sources said.  He will get a briefing by the 15 Corps Commander Lt Gen Gurmit Singh on terrorist activity and the security situation in the Kashmir Valley. The visit comes  in the wake of the attack on an Army convoy on 24 June. The Army chief is also expected to be given a briefing about the situation along the Line of Actual Control with China.
