Amit Shah’s Bikaner visit: Union Home Minsiter visits Saanchu BSF border post

Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Rajasthan’s Bikaner on Monday night on a two-day visit to the border areas of the district to participate in various programmes.

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar, Cabinet Minister Sumit Godara, BJP State President Madan Rathore, Rajendra Rathore, Chief Secretary V Srinivas, and several other dignitaries were present at Nal Airport to welcome the Union Home Minister.

From the airport, Shah drove straight to the BSF sector headquarters, where he stayed overnight.

On Tuesday, the Home Minister visited the Saanchu BSF border post to participate in a tree plantation drive, address a Sainik Sammelan, and interact with soldiers. Also, he attended the inauguration ceremony of barracks built exclusively for women personnel.

During his visit, Amit Shah is also chairing a high-level review meeting on issues related to border security and the challenges associated with it.
