Targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s China visit, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav said on Sunday that the BJP should clarify whether the total land of the country is the same as it was when its government came to power, or has it decreased after the Chinese occupation.
Mr Yadav has raised these questions by posting his statement on his social account. “This is the worrying truth of the so-called self-reliance, swadeshi, and boycott of Chinese goods by BJP’s slogans!”
In his statement, he said that ”the way India’s dependence on goods imported from China is increasing, it has had a bad effect on the continuously decreasing business of our industries, factories and shops. Due to this, unemployment is also increasing wildly.”
His post said the BJP should understand the chronology of Chinese tactics. ‘First, China will flood the Indian markets with its goods. This will increase the dependence on China so much that BJP people will be forced to ignore their every wrong action. After that, China will slowly take our products and industries to the brink of closure.”
Furthermore, he claimed, after that, China will supply everything at arbitrary prices. Inflation and unemployment will increase. ”When inflation and unemployment increase, the anger against the government will also increase manifold. The BJP government, which is running on the support of others, without a majority, will become even weaker and falter.”
The Samajwadi Party president alleged that the faltering BJP government itself will not be able to challenge the Chinese encroachment. China will further increase its occupation of our land, and after that, the BJP will repeat that “No one…, no one.”
Taking a dig at the Uttar Pradesh government, Akhilesh Yadav said, ”If the ‘drone people’ are not able to understand this, then the ‘bulldozer’ people sitting in UP should understand this truth and answer how much of our land has been usurped by China, because their original place of residence has also fallen prey to Chinese occupation.”
He said that the BJP people should just tell the area of the country. ”They should tell whether the total land of the country is still the same as it was at the time the BJP government took over, or whether it has decreased after the Chinese occupation.”
