Celebrating 100th anniversary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s (RSS) impactful presence in shaping India’s social and cultural fabric, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Awadh Prant, on Friday inaugurated a grand and visually captivating exhibition at its regional office in Kaiserbagh.

The event, marking the 100-year ideological journey of the RSS, drew an enthusiastic crowd of students, citizens, and volunteers, offering an inspiring glimpse into the Sangh’s contributions to nation-building.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Swant Ranjan, Akhil Bharatiya Pracharak Pramukh of the RSS, who served as the chief guest.

The event also saw the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Rajsharan Shahi, National President of ABVP, and Pawan Singh Chauhan, Member of the Legislative Council, among other dignitaries. The inaugural session was conducted by Pushpendra Vajpayee, State Secretary of ABVP Awadh Prant.

Meticulously curated by ABVP karyakartas of Awadh Prant, the exhibition traces the RSS’s century-long contributions to national life, showcasing milestones in social service, education, culture, and community development.

A large number of students, karyakartas, and local citizens attended the event, reflecting the widespread interest in the Sangh’s historical and ideological evolution.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Shri Swant Ranjan said, “Over the past 100 years, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has provided society with a positive direction. The Sangh has consistently strived to serve the nation through truthful efforts and public welfare initiatives. This exhibition portrays the century-long journey of the RSS. Viewing these depictions should not only inspire us but also invite reflection. Such initiatives are extremely important. I congratulate all ABVP workers who have brought clarity to the national discourse, enabling the younger generation to understand what the Sangh has achieved. This exhibition is not merely a presentation of the RSS’s work but a vivid portrayal of public participation in nation-building.”

Speaking on the occasion, ABVP National President Prof. (Dr.) Rajsharan Shahi remarked, “Through this exhibition on the centenary journey of the RSS, ABVP has tried to bring inspiring glimpses of the Sangh’s legacy to students, motivating them to move forward with a resolve for social and national service. This initiative also serves as a fitting response to anti-national forces that have repeatedly tried to create false narratives about the RSS.”

The vote of thanks was proposed by Prof. Bhuvaneshwari Bhardwaj, President of ABVP Lucknow Mahanagar.

Among those present were Devanand Tyagi (Central Secretariat Secretary, ABVP), Ghanshyam Shahi (Regional Organizing Secretary), Shubham Singh (National Co-Convenor, SHoDH), Prof. Neetu Singh (President, Awadh Prant), Prof. Manjula Upadhyay (Vice-President, Awadh Prant), Anshul Vidyarthi (Organizing Secretary, Awadh Prant), and Shashwat (Mahanagar Secretary, Lucknow), along with several other ABVP karyakartas.

The exhibition, officials said, will remain open for visitors over the coming days, offering a comprehensive glimpse into the RSS’s century of ideological evolution, social upliftment, and nation-building efforts.
