Aam Aadmi Party Delhi Unit President Saurabh Bharadwaj accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of forming the government by “committing fraud” exactly one year ago.
Taking to X, Bharadwaj marked the day with a strong message, writing, “Happy Fraud Day. Exactly one year ago today, the BJP won the elections by committing fraud.”
To support his claim, the AAP leader shared a video compilation of news reports. The video highlighted bulldozer actions carried out by the BJP government, ongoing problems related to clean drinking water, and the continuing landfill crisis in the Union Territory.
Through the post, Bharadwaj suggested that the BJP’s promises have not matched the ground reality over the past year.

BJP releases one-year report card
On the same day, the BJP government marked one year in office by presenting its performance report. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta released a report card of the Vidhan Sabha, detailing development work worth Rs 250 crore and major ongoing projects valued at Rs 10,000 crore.
Speaking to the public, Gupta said the booklet listed work that has been completed, work that has already started, and plans that are now being implemented. She described it as a summary of what the government has delivered and what it is building for the future.
Focus on parks and electric buses
The Chief Minister inaugurated redevelopment works at a district park as part of the celebrations. She said the park’s redevelopment had been planned for years and expressed satisfaction that the work had finally begun.
The project includes a new gate, repaired footpaths, renovated fountain areas, upgraded toilets, and rebuilt boundary walls. Gupta added that fountain renovation work is not limited to one park and has now started across the entire Vidhan Sabha area and in all DDA parks.
To mark the anniversary, Rekha Gupta, along with Transport Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh, PWD Minister Parvesh Verma, and BJP National President Nitin Nabin, flagged off around 500 electric buses. The Delhi-Panipat bus service was also launched on Sunday.
