AAP Punjab MLA accepts party’s rejection of her resignation


A day after Aam Aadmi Party’s Punjab MLA Anmol Gagan Mann announced her decision to quit politics, party leader Saurabh Bharadwaj on Sunday shared a social media post by the party’s Punjab unit chief, Aman Arora, stating that Mann has accepted the party’s decision to reject her resignation as a legislator.

In a post on X, Bharadwaj said, “Today, I had a meeting with Anmol Gagan Mann in a familial atmosphere. I conveyed the party’s decision to reject her resignation as an MLA, which she accepted. We agreed to continue working together for the progress of the party and the constituency. Anmol was, is, and will remain a part of the Arvind Kejriwal Ji and AAP family. Says Aman Arora, President, Punjab Unit, AAP.”

Later, Mann also posted on social media that she has accepted the party and national convener’s decision.

In a social media post in Punjabi, she said, “Today met our party president Aman Arora Ji. Have accepted AAP and Arvind Kejriwal Ji’s decision to reject the resignation.”

On Saturday, Mann announced her decision to quit politics and said she had submitted her resignation as a legislator.
