CM Yogi made the remarks on Sunday while speaing at a programme organised under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Raptinagar and Nanda Nagar of Gorakhpur.
The bodies of the couple and children, fully burnt, were recovered on Sunday morning, police said. Smoke was found coming out of the house when people informed the police.
Indra Bahadur Maurya(42) was running a vegetable shop in the village. The bodies of Indra, his wife Sushila Devi (38), daughter Chandni (10) and son Aryan (8) were lying on the same bed.
Cut marks are also found at many places on the woman’s body. That there was a struggle before the fire and the room smells of kerosene oil.
Family feud is said to be the reason behind the incident , police said.
