The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has released the final result of the Jharkhand Civil Services Examination 2023. A total of 342 candidates have been declared successful for appointment to various state administrative posts.
Ashish Akshat secured the first rank in the examination. Abhay Kumar and Ravi Ranjan Kumar stood at second and third places, respectively. Other names in the top 10 include Gautam Gaurav, Shweta, Rahul Kumar Vishwakarma, Robin Kumar, Sandeep Prakash, Swati Keshari, and Rajeev Ranjan.
The final result is based on the combined marks obtained in the main examination and interview. The commission stated that the selection process has been carried out in accordance with merit and reservation rules.
The recruitment drive was conducted for 342 posts across administrative, police, finance, labour, excise, planning, and social security services of the state. A total of 864 candidates were interviewed following the main examination.
The advertisement for the 2023 civil services examination was issued on 27 January 2024. The preliminary examination was held on 17 March, and the results were declared on 22 April, in which 7,011 candidates qualified for the mains.
The selection process witnessed several phases of protests and representations by aspirants over evaluation, answer key accuracy, and delays. The results are now available on the commission’s official website: www.jpsc.gov.in.
