Republic Day public lutotal of 30 tableaux — 17 from States and Union Territories and 13 from Ministries, Departments and Services — will roll down Kartavya Path in New Delhi during the 77th Republic Day parade on January 26, the Ministry of Defence said on Thursday.
These tableaux will be presented under the broad national themes ‘Swatantrata ka Mantra: Vande Mataram’ and ‘Samriddhi ka Mantra: Aatmanirbhar Bharat’, highlighting 150 years of the national song Vande Mataram, India’s journey of self-reliance, rapid development across sectors and the country’s rich and vibrant cultural diversity.
According to the official list released by the ministry, several states and Union Territories will present tableaux showcasing their regional heritage, economic growth and cultural identity.
This year, tableaux from West Bengal has also been selected. ‘Bengal in the Freedom Movement of India’ will be the theme of the state’s tableaux’. Bengal’s proposals for tableaux have previously been rejected on several ocassions (2015, 2020, 2022, and 2024).

Tamil Nadu: Mantra of Prosperity: Self-Reliant India
Uttar Pradesh: Culture of Bundelkhand
West Bengal: Bengal in the Freedom Movement of India
Madhya Pradesh: Punyashlok Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar
Punjab: 350th Year of Martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji
Apart from states and UnionTerritories, tableaux of different ministries and defence services will also highlight nation building, Operation Sindoor, reforms, and cultural heritage.
