3 Pakistani terrorists enter poll-bound Bihar via Nepal, police issue high alert

The Bihar Police has issued a high alert across all the district headquarters after reports of three Pakistani terrorists entering the poll-bound state via the Nepal border.

The Patna headquarters of Bihar Police has also shared with districts the names and photos of the terrorists, reported multiple media outlets.

The terrorists have been identified by the police as Hasnain from Rawalpindi, Adil from Umerkot, and Usman from Bahawalpur in Pakistan.

It is being suspected that the three Pakistani terrorists entered the Araria district in Bihar from Nepal. An investigation is currently underway to find the whereabouts of the terrorists.

The development comes amid intense electioneering in Bihar, where assembly polls are expected to be held within a couple of months.

As of now, there has been no official confirmation or statement from the Bihar Police on the Pakistani terrorists entering the state.

A leading English daily, citing sources, also claimed that the terrorists arrived in Kathmandu in the second week of August and entered Bihar around last week.

Security agencies are on high alert as terrorists could be preparing for a major attack ahead of the assembly elections in the state.
