Most wanted gangster killed in shootout at Kathua, J&K Police SI also martyred
Special police officer Anil Kumar and an associate of the killed gangster were injured during exchange of fire.
In first such terrorist attack at a public place in Jammu, five persons were injured as militants tossed a grenade at a police party near the busy general bus stand late Thursday night.
Among the injured were three policemen. Several vehicles were damaged.
Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a hunt for the terrorists.
This is the second terrorist attack this year in Jammu. Terrorists had attacked the Sunjuwan Military Station earlier this year in which nine persons, including six Army personnel, were killed.
