"It is a misuse of the Constitutional Institutions like CBI, ED, IT by the Central Government for acting against Opposition parties including the Congress with the repressive policies", Govind Singh Dotasara, Congress state President alleged at a Dharna site near ED office.
The Congress leader and former Haryana chief minister, however, said sounded optimistic about the outcome of the case saying, “We have full faith in the judiciary and that the entire Congress party stands firmly with Rahul Gandhi.”

The Congress on Wednesday accused the Centre of undermining constitutional authorities after it failed to immediately follow the Supreme Court's order of a status quo on the demolition drive in Delhi's Jahangirpuri area.

Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today disclosed that his party had proposed to Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Mayawati an alliance between the two parties for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections but she refused to contest the polls ostensibly because of the fear of the CBI, Enforcement Directorate and Pegasus.
The dissident group G-23 had raised a banner against the leadership and several rounds of meetings had took place since then. The group has said that they are not raising questions on leadership but wanted reforms.
It is not the first time that the prices of petroleum products are revised. The petrol prices are constantly rising for the last several days.
