After Lok Sabha, the Upper House gave another opportunity to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to rebut Opposition charges against Government projections and to give clarifications on issues like proposed capital expenditure and petroleum price-hike.
The Rajya Sabha clocked 100 per cent productivity for the week.

Rajya Sabha proceedings have been already paralysed since the beginning of the session over suspension of 12 Opposition members.
Speaking to ANI, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said that the Rajya Sabha will not function without the 12 suspended MPs. "We will conduct our Parliament session from this place only, they do not let the Parliament run," the Shiv Sena MP said.
The meeting is crucial as the Monsoon Session is set to be stormy with the opposition ready with strategy to corner the government over several issues that include rising petrol and diesel prices and the infrastructure lapses during the second wave of Covid.
