Stating that the government is intent on ensuring that livelihood is not affected in exigencies of the situation, Patnaik also appealed to the people to strictly abide by the Covid-19 protocol.
It may be recalled here that Patnaik on New Year’s Eve had directed district collectors to ensure that no shelter or orphanage under the organisation suffers and added that money from the chief minister’s relief fund can be used for aid, if needed.
Patnaik launched these projects while visiting the Kalinga Stadium here.
Visiting the district to launch the distribution of smart health cards to beneficiaries covered under the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY), Patnaik inaugurated 651 projects worth Rs 570.97 crore and laid foundation stones for 645 projects of Rs 1,582.94 crore.
