Former Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa on Thursday slammed party leader Navjot Singh Sidhu, saying "no one can repair" the loss he has caused to Congress party.

Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu Wednesday resigned from the post on Wednesday. “As desired by the Congress President I have sent my resignation,” Sidhu, who was made the state party chief eight months back, said in a tweet this morning.
Maken retweeted a tweet supporting the elevations of Navjot Singh Sidhu as Punjab PCC chief and questioning the attitude of chief ministers such as Amarinder Singh, Ashok Gehlot and the late Sheila Dikshit. The original tweet pointed out that as soon as such leaders become chief ministers, they start believing the party won because of them.
Sources said the Congress was mulling an idea of appointing a Dalit and an upper caste Hindu as the working presidents. But, Amarinder Singh's unhappiness has compelled the party to think otherwise.
"The party is working on a formula to appoint two working presidents and elections will be fought under the leadership of the Chief Minister," said Rawat.
